DeBoxify
For some reason, there are those who seem to think that making an icon of a box of software (huh?) makes it all official. One often sees these little icons next to downloads of Enterprise Software Pro 2008™. This tool will make a product box icon for any software in Debian!
Requirements
- python
- librsvg2-bin
- xalan
- make
Usage
$ make boxes/menuname.png
where menuname is one of the files listed in /usr/share/menu/.
eg:
$ make boxes/inkscape.png
This uses SVG for the rendering, so an intermediate SVG file can be made. Keep in mind, all of the images in the SVG are referenced - not embedded.
